We have redeveloped the Corporate Treasury Course to make it even better. The course is now streamlined and focused on issues relevant to hands-on treasury practitioners, giving the modern day Treasurer everything they need to know. We have added new materials on topics such as credit risk and operations and embedded extra opportunities for participants to practice the material being taught.
Our aim is to assist participants to be better equipped at managing financial risks in a treasury environment. A range of case studies and practical exercises bring the theory to life and make the course a stimulating and enjoyable experience.
Pre-requisites
The course aims to provide a working knowledge & overview of treasury and financial risk concept. The course does not assume that you have pre-existing knowledge of financial risk management techniques.
You will not be expected to undertake any complex mathematical calculations. Any concepts introduced will be intuitively explained to reinforce the key drivers of Treasury Management decisions. Formulas will be provided for those wishing to explore in greater depth.

Important information
The Organiser reserve the right to cancel any course that does not have the required enrolment numbers or in the event of exceptional circumstances. A full refund or alternative courses will be offered in these circumstances.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be granted if the applicant notifies the Organiser prior to 10 working days of the commencement of the program. If the notice of cancellation is less than 10 working days a 50% refund will be granted.
If the notice of cancellation is received on or after the course commencement date or less than five working days prior, the fees will not be refunded. Another person may be nominated in place of the applicant.

Paul Travers
Course Facilitator
Paul has over 30 years’ experience in treasury, risk management and banking working from buy, sell and advisory perspectives. He has been a fundamental driving force in the delivery of Treasury Training for corporate, banking and government sectors throughout Australia for over 10 years. Paul is across current treasury matters from his day to day dealings as a Director over the past 10 years at KPMG, which enabled him to create relevant content in the changing business landscape that is treasury and risk management and his ongoing involvement in treasury related initiatives through the Australian Corporate Treasury Association (ACTA).
Paul is a past President of the Australian Corporate Treasury Association, and has been the Chair of their Annual Treasury Conference for the past 5 years and past Chair of FINSIA’s Institutional Markets Industry Council.
Paul is an engaging presenter who has helped hundreds of treasury professionals progress further in business and their careers and has redeveloped the course to make it relevant, streamlined and focused on the issues at hand – ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable experience for all!
